Each member of our Expedition Team – the Expedition Leader, polar experts (in marine biology, climate, ornithology, glaciology and history), fitness coach, expedition artist, musician and physiotherapist – is among the most professional masters in the field. Landing the helicopter on the helipad of a ship or on a glacier with gusting winds takes great skill and are only two of the jobs that our helicopter crew must perform. For these reasons, only the best and most professional of helicopter crews enter service on our North Pole expeditions.
